Abstract
Salidroside is the main active component of Rhodiola crenulata,a plant from the Crassulaceae family. Recent studies have shown that salidroside exerts significant therapeutic potential for various bone diseases through multiple pharmacological mechanisms, including promoting bone formation, inhibiting bone resorption, and improving the bone microenvironment. It has demonstrated unique advantages in the prevention and treatment of osteoporosis, osteoarthritis, osteonecrosis, and bone tumors, highlighting the important value of salidroside in the treatment of bone diseases. The article reviews the research progress and pharmacological mechanisms of salidroside in the treatment of bone diseases, aiming to provide a theoretical basis and new therapeutic ideas for the treatment of bone diseases with traditional Chinese medicine.
