Abstract
In the context of the new era,the standardization of Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM) is undergoing a critical transformation from foundational infrastructure development to a phase of quality-efficiency leapfrogging. Grounded in the philosophy of high-quality development, this paper elucidates the fundamental connotation of TCM standardization in the new era through four analytical dimensions:fundamental principles, starting and ending points, strategic objectives, and critical indicators. It analyzes and summarizes its strategic significance in TCM development,as well as key challenges currently facing TCM standardization and their potential solutions. The key challenges primarily involve constraints imposed by traditional empirical paradigms, ambiguities in the hierarchical functionality of the standardization system, bottlenecks in theoretical frameworks and high-quality evidence generation, deficiencies in closed-loop application feedback mechanisms, and insufficient international discourse power. Potential solutions mainly encompass integrating the “empirical-standard paradigm”,scientific governance of the standardization system,innovation-driven strategies,whole-lifecycle management, collaborative development, and talent pipeline development strategies. This paper preliminarily proposes a strategic research framework for the high-quality development of TCM standardization in the new era. It aims to provide a reference for continuously advancing the high-quality development of TCM standardization and fully leveraging its leading role in the high-quality development of the TCM industry.
