活血化瘀中药治疗糖尿病外周动脉疾病的研究进展和临床应用前景

摘要:
外周动脉疾病是由于肢体远端动脉硬化加重而引起动脉狭窄,是心脑血管动脉硬化的重要标志,也是全身动脉硬化的表现之一。外周动脉疾病在2型糖尿病患者中发病率明显升高,是典型的糖尿病缺血性血管疾病。近年来一系列的研究发现活血化瘀类中药对外周动脉疾病缺血损伤部位具有良好的修复作用,因此,运用活血化瘀法治疗糖尿病外周动脉疾病为糖尿病外周动脉疾病治疗提供了良好的研究思路和方法。

Recent advance and clinical application potential of blood-activating and stasis-removing Chinese medicine for diabetic peripheral artery disease

Abstract:
Peripheral arterial disease (PAD), a form of arteriostenosis, is induced by aggravation of distal limb arteriosclerosis. It is an indicator of cardiac and cerebral artery atherosclerosis as well as a bench mark for systemic atherosclerosis. The morbidity of peripheral arterial disease in type 2 diabetic patients is significantly increased. PAD is a typical diabetic ischemic vascular disease. Increasing evidence from various experimental models has indicated that blood-activating and stasis-removing Chinese medicine may be effective for ischemic injury repair of peripheral arterial disease. Therefore, various databases were searched and basic science and clinical literatures were analyzed in this field. The comprehensive review is aimed at providing good research ideas and methods to treat diabetic peripheral artery disease by using blood-activating and stasis-removing Chinese medicine.
