| [Objective] To study the influence of Puerarin on the secretion of cytokine from the vascular endothelial cell during the course of atherosclerosis and explore its mechanism of anti-atherosclerosis.[Methods] The contents of IL-8 in the cell culture fluid treated by various concentration were detected in the cell model induced by homocystein(HCY) and radio-immunity method.[Results] HCY could increase the contents of IL-8 in the fluid apparently, high dose of Puerarin ould reduce the secretion of IL-8.[Conclusions] High dose Puerarin can reduce the secretion of IL-8 by inhabiting injured ECV304. Thereby it can protect the injured endothelial cell and has effect on anti-atherosclerosis. |
