Abstract
It was a great opportunity for the globalization of TCM that many Chinese doctors went out to other countries. TCM education (including acupuncture) was also developed quickly in overseas. This paper reported the history, characters and problems of TCM education in the UK. In particular there was a bottleneck that was obstructing the increase and level of clinical practice because students had no sufficient opportunity for contact with patients in the colleges. The author suggested that let more foreign TCM students study clinical practice in China.
